The photographer who actually gets it…
Because he's been exactly where you are.
There's a moment that happens in almost every brand photography session I've ever done.
It usually comes about 45 minutes in. The nerves have settled. The stiffness is gone.
And suddenly — without me having to say much at all — the person in front of my camera just... shows up.
Fully. As themselves. That moment is what I live for.
My name is Len Incognito. Yes, that's my real name. My father brought it from the Philippines and I've been carrying it — and the story behind it, ever since.
I'm a personal branding photographer based in Montgomery County, Maryland.
And I've spent the last 20+ years figuring out one thing: how to make people feel completely at ease in front of a camera, and how to make sure what the camera captures is actually them — not a performance of them.
I know what it means to start over.
For 35 years, I worked as a research scientist, business analyst, and R&D IT consultant in the pharmaceutical industry. I was pretty good at it. I was also laid off three times.
The third time, I made a decision.
At 58 years old, I chose to stop doing work that paid the bills and start doing work that lit me up — the passion I'd carried since high school, the thing I'd been doing on evenings and weekends for over two decades.
I chose photography.
I tell you this not to impress you, but because there's a good chance you understand exactly what that feels like. Maybe you're in the middle of your own version of that decision right now. Maybe you've already made the leap and you're building something new, something yours, something that finally reflects who you actually are.
That's exactly the client I love working with most.
Because I don't just understand your journey intellectually. I've lived it. And when you walk into a session with me, you'll feel that from the first minute.
Every client is a friend I'm
meeting for the first time.
That's not a tagline. That's genuinely how I work.
From the moment you arrive, my job is to make sure you feel welcomed, guided, and completely at ease. I'll offer you water. I'll walk you through exactly what we're doing and why. I'll explain every pose before I ask you to do it — because when you understand the reasoning, you stop feeling like a subject and start feeling like a collaborator.
The result is images that don't just look good. They feel true.
You'll look back at your gallery months from now and think: "That was me. That's exactly who I am."
That's the standard I hold myself to. Every single time.

I have over 20+ years of experience in portrait, headshot, and personal branding photography. I’m also a former lab scientist with a precision-obsessed mind and a musician's ear for rhythm. That aside, I’m also a marathon runner, road cyclist, avid golfer, and most importantly — a husband and devoted dad to three grown sons — and one very opinionated Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named, Cooper.
